In Scotland, one in four children are growing up in poverty. People are facing impossible choices as they can’t afford the essentials. At the same time, around the world we are seeing the devastating impact of the climate crisis.

Have you ever wondered why?

Join us for Purpose - a Wellbeing Economies Film where we explore how the economy is at the heart of these problems and what we can do differently.

'We need an economy in service of the kinds of lives that people want.' Katherine Trebeck

This inspiring film follows the stories of Katharine Trebeck and Lorenzo Fioramonti as they work to transform our economy so that it puts people and planet first. And highlights the pivotal role that Scotland played in establishing the Wellbeing Economy Governments Partnership.
